Gian Carlo Minardi: “It was an incredible and emotional weekend. I must thank all of the participants for the passion they gave every year, bringing unique and incredible pieces and giving indescribable emotions to Historic Minardi Day; as well as the many fans for the enthusiasm they demonstrated. It’s not every year that we get to host Valtteri Bottas, get Aldo Costa behind the wheel of the Mercedes F1 and see Formula E at the same time. I want to thank the staff and ex-Minardi volunteers for contributing in such a fundamental way to ensure the success of the event. All that remains now is for us to get to work on the fourth edition.”.
Pier Giovanni Ricci (Manager of the Race Track): “: “The success of the third edition of the Historic Minardi day, with 9,000 in attendance over two days, confirms how the Autodromo di Imola is the perfect stage when it comes to motorsport history, and the great emotions and the unmistakable sound of Formula 1 cars. I want to thank Gian Carlo Minardi and Francesco Assirelli, patron of the Bandini Trophy, for bringing us a champion of such high caliber, Valtteri Bottas, a ride between past and present that we enjoy with great passion. With an eye on the near future, as evidenced by the presence of Mahindra, the car from Formula E, the sector of sustainable mobility, on which we are focusing with great commitment and conviction. I would like to conclude by thanking the Formula Imola staff, medical service, the commissioners of the track, the fire and safety services; all of them are contributing substantially to the success of events in this particularly challenging time. And now it’s time for everyone to get ready for Superbike!”.
