20 JUNE 2021 – ITALIAN CYCLING CHAMPIONSHIPS


The great cycling is back at the Imola Racetrack. This year the Elite Men inline race of the Italian Championships is on stage, which will award the Italian road title with a route that will partly retrace that of the 2020 World Championship.
It will start from Bellaria Igea Marina with 225 km to cover for a total altitude difference of 3,100 meters.

The group will go up Romagna passing through Villalta, Matellica, Carpinello, Forlì, Villanova, Faenza before facing Cima Monticino (280 m asl) which leads to Riolo Terme where it rejoins the roads of the 2020 World Championships, thus facing Cima Galisterna (268 m asl), via Sabbioni and the entrance to Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari.

The finish line will be in viale Saffi in Imola, near the Rocca Sforzesca. From there the counting for the last four laps on the 2020 World Cup route starts: via Bergullo, Cima Mazzolano (137 m asl), Riolo Terme, Cima Galisterna and back in viale Saffi in Imola, for a circuit that measures a total of 31.4 km.

We inform that during th race of the Italian Cycling Championship, public access to the track will be allowed from 09.00 to 18.00, exclusively on foot.

There will be 4 passages on the track, approximately scheduled between hours

13.40/13.55 – 14.30/14.50 – 15.20/15.40 – 16.00/16.20
