Hamilton, Antonelli and Norris as exceptional testimonials of culture, passion and Italian excellence
Imola, 2 May 2025. Three single-seaters side by side to give life to the tricolour, the imposing medieval architecture of the Rocca Sforzesca in Imola, the faces of three of the most eagerly awaited protagonists of the seventh round of the Formula 1 World Championship, which will be held from 16 to 18 May 2025 at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola: Lewis Hamilton, Ferrari – the most victorious driver in the World Championship: seven titles, 105 wins, 104 pole positions – his heir at Mercedes, the very young and surprising Andrea Kimi Antonelli – who has brought an Italian driver back to the F1 World Championship – and Lando Norris – McLaren – among the most serious candidates for the 2025 title. Imola, as the slogan says, “Motor Valley beating heart”, became the beating heart of Motor Valley during those days.
These are – in addition to the unfailingly exciting choreography of Ferrari flags on the “hill of passion” – the elements characterising the poster of the Formula 1 AWS Grand Prix of Made in Italy and Emilia-Romagna 2025, unveiled today.
Created by ACI Sport, in full compliance with the international guidelines set out by Formula 1, the poster also contains the logos of all institutional partners.
‘The graphics, which will accompany the first of the two Italian Formula 1 events,‘ explained General Tullio del Sette, Extraordinary Commissioner of the Automobile Club of Italy, ‘synthesises some of the founding elements of Italian excellence: the history, culture and passion of one of the most innovative and dynamic regions of our country.
“Three single-seaters,’ continued the ACI Commissioner. – whose liveries, side by side, give life to the tricolour, and the faces of some of the most eagerly awaited drivers on the starting grid, including our own Andrea Kimi Antonelli. The driver from Bologna – born in the nursery of the Automobile Club d’Italia which, as the Italian motor-sport federation, has among its main aims precisely that of promoting the growth of young talents from our home – although still at the start of his adventure in Formula 1, is achieving truly flattering results.
‘Linked to the name of Imola, however – concluded General Del Sette – there is also the legend of Enzo Ferrari: the single-seaters of the Cavallino, in fact, are one of the most formidable promotional vehicles for our country. As Italians, therefore, we can only hope for a great performance from the Maranello cars, in an autodrome that will be at its best and, once again, with packed stands.
