After a seven-year absence, the Imola-Classic returns to the Enzo and Dino Ferrari International Circuit for its fifth edition on the weekend of July 25–27. An event of international stature that will see no fewer than 330 drivers take to the track, representing 15 nations (Italy, France, Belgium, Germany, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Finland, the Netherlands, Denmark, Austria, Monaco, Hong Kong, Argentina, Canada, and the United States), along with 247 historic racing cars. These legendary machines are ready to revive decades of motorsport passion, bringing back to life the golden era of endurance racing on four wheels.
For this new edition of the Imola-Classic, nine categories will take to the track: the Porsche 911s of the 2.0L Cup; the legendary endurance cars from the categories Classic Endurance Racing 1 (Ferrari 512 M and Ford GT40) and Classic Endurance Racing 2 (M1 Procar and Ferrari 512 BBLM); the GTs and Prototypes from the 1990s and 2000s of the Endurance Racing Legends 1 (Pescarolo C60 and Maserati MC12) and Endurance Racing Legends 2 (Porsche 997 GT2 RS and Ferrari 360 Modena N-GT); the touring cars of the Classic Touring Challenge (Ford Cortina Lotus and Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA); the cars from the European Touring Car Championship for the Heritage Touring Cup (BMW 3.0 CSL and Ford Escort RS 1600); the pre-63 cars and pre-66 GTs of the Sixties’ Endurance (Shelby Cobra 289 and Jaguar E-Type 3.8); the icons of the 1950s and ’60s of the Gentlemen Challenge (Ferrari 250 GT SWB and Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ).
Adding to the program will be a support category: the Alfa Revival Cup, organized by Canossa Events, which celebrates classic Alfa Romeos such as the legendary GTAm, Sprint GTA, and Giulia Super. Imola Classic will be one of the official rounds of the 2025 Alfa Revival Cup calendar.
The event program includes:
- Friday, July 25: a full day dedicated to free practice sessions.
- Saturday, July 26: qualifying sessions and the first 4 races.
- Sunday, July 27: nine races, for a total of 13 races over the weekend.
