A2RL: The Future of Autonomous Racing Arrives in Imola

For the first time, A2RL – the Abu Dhabi Autonomous Racing League, will be featured at the ACI Racing Weekend in Imola, bringing the world’s most advanced autonomous driving technologies to the motorsport area.

Throughout the weekend, spectators will have the opportunity to witness a live demonstration race featuring five SF26 single-seater race cars, each driven entirely by Artificial Intelligence systems, with no human driver on board. A unique opportunity to experience firsthand how research, innovation, and motorsport come together, driving the development of technologies that will help shape the future of mobility.

Developed by ASPIRE, A2RL brings together leading universities, research institutions, and technology teams from around the world, fostering the development of increasingly advanced autonomous driving solutions through real-world testing on the racetrack.

The demonstration race will be one of the most innovative highlights of the ACI Racing Weekend, offering fans a unique opportunity to witness firsthand the potential of Artificial Intelligence applied to motorsport competition.
