The Enzo and Dino Ferrari International Circuit is ready to host the first of two Racing Weekends included in the 2025 calendar. This is the final race event before the summer break, featuring the stars of the Italian GT Endurance Championship, Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine, Italian F4 Championship, and TCR Italy.
A total of 41 crews will take to the track for the 3 Hours of Imola, the third round of the Italian GT Endurance Championship, which marks the traditional halfway point of the 2025 season and the start of its decisive phase. The GT3 battle is wide open, with the Audi R8 LMS of Mazzola-Rauer-Cazzaniga (Tresor Attempto Racing) and the Ferrari 296 GT3 of Colavita-Badawi-Vidales (AF Corse) tied at the top of the overall standings, holding an eight-point lead over the 296 of Coluccio-Gorini-Tamburini (Easy Race). In the GT Cup, the spotlight is on the leaders of the sub-classes: Fontana-Gai (PRO-AM 1st Division), Locanto-Segù (AM 1st Division), Bontempelli-Di Fabio-Postiglione (PRO-AM 2nd Division), and Marulla-Risitano (AM 2nd Division), all determined to defend their lead in the race for the Italian titles.
It’s the sixth round of the season for the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine, which rejoins the ACI Racing Weekend for the second of three rounds on Italian soil. All eyes are on the top battle between the British 2024 Italian F4 Championship champion, Freddie Slater (Prema Racing), and the Italian Matteo De Palo (Trident Motorsport), separated by just 20 points after the season’s halfway mark. Right behind them, however, Pedro Clerot (Van Amersfoort Racing), Enzo Deligny (R-Ace GP), and Evan Giltaire (ART Grand Prix) are eager to keep close and remain in the fight for the overall victory.
The sixth ACI Racing Weekend of the season will also host the fifth of seven rounds of theItalian F.4 Championship. The championship is approaching its final stretch, and Kean Nakamura-Berta will arrive at the Santerno circuit as the leader. The Japanese-Slovakian driver from Prema Racing, however, cannot afford lapses in concentration due to the constant pressure from his rivals. The battle at the top is wide open: Sebastian Wheldon, Andretti Global driver also racing with Prema Racing, holds second place tied on points with South American Gabriel Gomez of US Racing, both determined to challenge the Japanese leader’s position. After the last round, Alex Powell, Mercedes junior driver for R-ace GP, has also emerged strongly, boosting his bid for the Italian title thanks to a double victory achieved in Tuscany.
The fourth round of the TCR Italy season at the Imola circuit. The points leader is Nicola Baldan with the Audi RS3 LMS of Aikoa Racing. The Veneto driver leads by 29 points over reigning champion Nic Tylor, who drives the identical car managed by PMA Motorsport. In the DSG category, the spotlight is on the Cupra cars of Eric Brigliadori, who is dominating the championship with four wins out of six races, and his teammate Matteo Roccadelli. From this round onward, Cosimo Barberini with the Cupra VZ of Nos and Emanuele Romani with the Volkswagen Golf TCR DSG will join the competition. There will be 18 cars in the Sequential category, while 15 will compete in the DSG category.
