Second day of the ACI Racing Weekend at the Enzo and Dino Ferrari International Circuit. On track for the final qualifying sessions and the first four races were the categories: Italian GT Endurance Championship, Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine, Italian F4 Championship, and TCR Italy.
After dominating Race 1 of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine, Enzo Deligny saw his victory put back into play due to the Safety Car deployment just a few minutes from the end. With the race restarting just two laps from the finish, the Frenchman did well not to be caught off guard, leaving no opportunity for the British driver Freddie Slater, who finished second, to launch an attack. Third place on the podium went to Indian driver Akshay Bohra.
Race 1 of the Italian F4 Championship was affected by three Safety Car periods. In practice, the race lasted less than ten minutes of actual racing, with the final order—lacking major moves or overtakes—mirroring the positions from the first lap. The Brazilian Gabriel Gomez took the win ahead of Colombian Salim Hanna and Japanese driver Kean Nakamura-Berta.
Race 1 victory in the TCR Italy Sequential category went to Alex Ley (Hyundai Elantra N). Starting fastest from the second position on the grid, he immediately took the lead, pulling away decisively from mid-race with a series of lap records. Consistently the fastest on track, the British driver finished with a 4-second lead, cruising through the final lap. Second place went to Canadian Nicolas Taylor (Audi RS 3 LMS), who tried to hold on but eventually had to give up. Third place on the podium went to Matteo Poloni (Audi RS 3 LMS), who came out ahead of Gabriele Covini (Hyundai Elantra N) and Pietro Alessi (Audi RS 3 LMS) after a duel that lasted the entire race.
Easy victory for Eric Brigliadori (Cupra Leon) in Race 1 of the TCR Italy DSG. Starting strong at the start, he gradually pulled away, creating a gap between himself and the pursuers, crossing the finish line with a 15-second lead. A great battle for the remaining podium places, with Gustavo Sandrucci (Audi RS3 LMS) skillfully holding off strong attacks on the final lap from Mattia Lancellotti (Audi RS3 LMS).
In the afternoon, qualifying sessions took place to set the grid for the 3 Hours of Imola in the Italian GT Endurance Championship, the race scheduled to start on Sunday at 3:30 PM. Pole position went to the Mercedes AMG (D’Auria-Hodenius) of the Iron Lynk team, with second place taken by the Mercedes AMG (Caresani-Sathinthirakul-Scholze) of the AKM Motorsport team. Starting from the second row will be the Audi R8 LMS (Mazzola-Rauer-Cazzaniga) of the Tresor Attempto Racing team and the Ferrari 296 (Colavita-Badawi-Vidales) of the AF Corse team.
